The Village Hall Fund is dedicated to raising money for the continued upkeep and refurbishment of the Village Hall.

We do this by holding events at the Hall throughout the year. From discos to Christmas Feasts, from race nights to quizzes we try to arrange events to appeal to everyone.

In 2009 in 8 months we raised £1300, and this paid for new blinds, outside painting, advertising boards and much more.

Our Darnhall Village Day this summer raised over £1000 towards two disabled car parking spaces, and we need funds all the time for further projects to maintain the Hall. So now we have raised over £2000 from our events in 2010 and 2011, and we are having our disabled car parking spaces created.

We have applied for and won a grant from WREN for further work on the fabric of the Hall inside and out - to be completed soon.
